About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic operational Chief Financial Officer to drive operational excellence and financial leadership at Rosterfy. As a key member of the executive team reporting to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our fast-growing B2B SaaS company, optimising financial performance, and streamlining operations to support sustainable growth. This role requires a proven leader with deep expertise in SaaS financial strategy, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, business operations, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional value to our customers while achieving our long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial
1.1 Financial Planning & Operations
- Lead the finance and accounting team, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and SaaS metrics analysis.
- Ensure cash flow management, compliance, and risk governance while optimising financial processes through automation.
- Drive continuous improvements in reporting, internal controls, and working capital management.
1.2 Team Leadership & Culture
- Build and mentor a high-performing Finance and Legal team, fostering a scalable, data-driven, and results-oriented culture.
2. Operations
2.1 Strategy & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Drive strategic execution, ensuring alignment of executive OKRs/KPIs across all functions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support high-value ($100K+) enterprise deal negotiations and enhance decision-making through robust data infrastructure.
2.2 Legal & Risk Management
- Streamline contract processes to improve deal speed and minimise risk.
- Oversee legal compliance, governance, employee share schemes and contractual obligations to maintain strong risk management frameworks.
3. Strategy & Corporate Development
3.1 Strategic Planning & Growth
- Develop and execute financial strategies to drive long-term growth, profitability, and capital allocation.
- Continuously assess market opportunities, competitors, and partnerships to strengthen Rosterfyβs position.
- Global product pricing strategy design and implementation
3.2 Board & Investor Engagement
- Manage board reporting, investor relations, and capital planning.
- Lead fundraising efforts, financial modeling, and due diligence for equity, debt, and M&A transactions, ensuring strategic alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with the CEO to align board discussions with company objectives, ensuring focus on key strategic and financial drivers, including recommended actions or decisions.
About you:
We are seeking an experienced leader with 10+ years experience in operational CFO roles within fast growing B2B SaaS technologies companies. Key strengths we are looking for include:
- SaaS Financial Expertise β Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, LTV, CAC, Churn), financial modeling, pricing strategies, and revenue recognition (ASC 606).
- Strategic & Operational Leadership β Ability to drive financial strategy, optimise operational efficiency, and align financial goals with business growth objectives, including international expansion.
- Scalability & Growth Experience β Proven track record in scaling high-growth SaaS companies globally, aligning operational departments, managing capital allocation, and ensuring sustainable unit economics.
- Investor Relations & Fundraising β Experience in equity and debt financing, managing investor relations, and leading funding rounds to support business expansion.
- Data-Driven Decision Making β Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for forecasting, risk management, and guiding executive decision-making.
- Mission alignment - Passion for volunteering
